For this informative essay, I think I want to write about diabetes. I think it would be easy to write about this topic because I have had the darn thing for so long. This is still a broad topic to write about, so I would have to narrow it down even more. I think I want to write about the research they have done for it and how close they are to finding a cure. I have talked to my Endocrinologist about some places to start my research, and she gave me a lot of good websites to look into. I know I will enjoy writing about this because it's is something I am also interested in. I am surprisingly excited to do my research for this topic because it is something that really involves me.
I'm not really sure what else to write about. I don't have a great knowledge about anything else, or interested in doing research about anything else. I know that's not something I should be saying to a teacher, but at least I'm being honest. I also have no idea what to write about.
I like your topic a lot. This is something that you're pretty well an expert on, and expanding your knowledge base of it will be really good and interesting. As someone who knows very little of it, it would be great to read as well! Just be sure you narrow it down like you said!
